The Physical Rehabilitation Unit provides an interdisciplinary approach offering physical, occupational, speech and respiratory therapies, social workers, dieticians, and 24-hour on-site rehabilitation nursing care under the direction of our board certified medical directors.
Our goal is to help patients get back to life and back to family and friends as quickly as possible. Working with each patient and their family members, the team designs a highly individualized treatment plan that focuses on potential, not limitations.

Rehabilitation gives every patient the best chance of regaining and increasing independence that was lost or diminished by an injury. Summit Hospital's rehab team helps patients achieve:

To Make a Referral
Physicians, patients and their families, discharge planners and allied health professionals may initiate a referral. If you believe a patient may benefit from our services, please call us at 755-4456. A member of our staff will perform an assessment at no charge.
