Emergency Department

When you or your family are sick or hurt, you want help fast. At Summit, we realize that every second counts in an emergency. Our doctors and nurses are prepared to handle virtually any emergency in a fast and efficient manner.

Our up-to-date emergency department has 24 beds, including two major trauma rooms and two cardiac rooms. As a level two trauma center, helicopter access is literally at our doorstep.

Our staff takes a family-focused approach to care by involving family members in the patient's treatment plan. And we work closely with your primary care physician on your follow up care.
